# Getting started with Ursa

The purpose of this section is to guide you installing Ursa, and verifying that it has installed properly by running a test of a small area from the Sherpa Fire from 2016. The testing suite has been created in a way such that it shouldn't take more than half an hour on a typical laptop from starting initialization to running and postprocessing all of the results.
